Aragonite crystallizes forming acicular crystals which are elongated along the c-axis. The mineral formation can also be fibrous, columnar, and stalactitic.
Aragonite provides for ease of centering one and is especially helpful during periods of stress and anger or during the preparation for a state of meditation. It can, when consciously directed, help one to maintain strict discipline within one's activities. It also enhances reliability and practicality. Aragonite can be useful to combat chills and to bring warmth to extremities. It is associated with the astrological sign of Capricorn.
